Anode-Free Lithium Metal Batteries

In their Research Article (10.1002/adfm.202518139), Dong-Won Kim and co-workers develop a cross-linked polymer protective layer containing AgNO3 for anode-free lithium metal batteries. The polymer network guides uniform Li+ flux, while AgNO3 forms lithiophilic Ag seeds and inorganic-rich SEI, enabling homogeneous lithium deposition and stable cycling in high-loading LiNi0.88Co0.10Al0.02O2 anode-free pouch cells.
