Triboelectric Nanogenerators

In article number 2501074, Jin Woo Bae and co-workers integrate triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs) with water splitting. They introduce amino-modified graphene oxide (MGO) fillers that enhance triboelectric output by increasing surface positivity and conductivity. Silk-based TENGs with 1.5 wt% MGO achieved 1135 V and 11.76 mA m−2, offering a promising route for sustainable energy harvesting and self-powered systems.
